Opening Park View GP surgery in Normanton

I was really pleased to be asked to open the new Park View GP surgery, just off Castleford Road in Normanton last week. The practice is now being run by Wakefield based FMC Health Solutions who have another practice in Ferrybridge.

Lots of changes have been made in the surgery to increase the security and improve patient care - including a new CCTV system and electronic patient check-in systems and information boards.

It was good to meet the surgery staff and to see so many local people come along to the opening including Mrs Massey who (at 97) is the surgery
