Leeds City Centre GP is fresh from 2008 Beijing Olympics
Dr Kay Brennan, a GP for One Medicare at the NHS doctor's surgery in the Light, has just returned from the Beijing Olympics as she is the Chief Medical Officer for the 2008 British Diving Team.
Dr Brennan, who is also a musculoskeletal specialist said, "Being involved in the Olympics has been an extremely rewarding experience and working with the divers gave me the opportunity to have a real balance in my career. China is a fantastic place and there was such a buzz in Beijing. It has made me even more excited for the 2012 Olympics."
Britain's divers are a young team and for some of the athletes it was their first ever Olympic games. They did tremendously well to reach the finals of six of their events, and there are high hopes for the team at the 2012 London Olympics. Fourteen year old Tom Daley is one particular shining star to look out for who came seventh in the Men's 10m platform event.
Dr Brennan is a GP at the only NHS doctor's surgery in Leeds City Centre. One Medicare @ The Light is open 6 days a week and seven 'til seven twice a week, making it ideal for people working and living in the centre.
