Park View, Normanton

The Park View Surgery in Normanton was taken over in January 2006 and a major overhaul of provision set about. Numerous improvements have been introduced and a full range of primary care services as laid out below is now offered. Within 12 months of taking over this single handed urban practice with a high list size we have recruited more GPs and a full time nurse practitioner.

The premises have been completely refurbished and a new computer system installed. The notes are quickly being summarised and prescribing and QOF points are much improved.

The GP has much more support. Workloads are capped and help is at hand as required. Education, development and good performance are now main priorities as the daily workload is under control.

We have created a safer environment for both the patients and the GPs. We are now looking forward to expanding the services the surgery provides in the next stage of development.
