RACHEL BEVERLEY-STEVENSON

SIR VERNON ELLIS - CHAIRMAN

Vernon has a very strong business background having spent most of his working life at Accenture, where until recently he was International Chairman.

He has been awarded a knighthood in the 2011 New Year's Honour List for his work as Chairman of ENO and his Services to Music.

Vernon was also recently appointed Chair of the British Council, the UK's International Cultural Relations organisation. He is personally involved in leading initiatives around the world and was part of the team that accompanied the Prime Minister on his recent visit to India in order to build important cultural relationship.

Vernon will provide strategic counsel and work with the rest of the board to help take the business from strength to strength.

RACHEL BEVERLEY-STEVENSON, BA Hons - CHIEF EXECUTIVE

An experienced company director, Rachel has a substantial background in senior level business management across European and Australasian markets and a number of industry sectors.

In 2004, Rachel and three other local businessmen set up One Medical to become a key provider of primary care buildings and services with a consultative and customer focused edge.

As Chief Executive, Rachel has led One Medical's development into a substantial business and a leading player in the provision of healthcare facilities with a multi-million pound property portfolio.

In 2006, Rachel was a founder shareholder of One Medicare, a patient focused primary care delivery business of which she is also Chief Executive.

One Medicare has grown from a start up into a significant service delivery business with a staff base of over 100 across six locations and a multi-million pound turnover. Both businesses work together to deliver a complete primary care solution.

Rachel is a service driven individual with specific knowledge of, and passion for, the primary care sector.

DR RICHARD JENKINS - MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCGP - GROUP MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr Richard Jenkins took up his new post of Group Medical Director in March 2011.

He comes to us with a wealth of experience: he graduated as a GP in 2000 and has held various positions in the PCT around governance, prescribing and the QOF and was also a member of the PEC.

Richard has also worked for the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, and has been leading on improving safety and quality in general practice plus leadership around engaging and motivating clinicians.

As part of his role, he will ensure a safe and compliant service is delivered to all One Medicare patients.

Richard enjoys working with One Medicare, who share his vision and passion of delivering primary care of the highest quality and safety to our patients.

NICOLA SALE BSc Hons ACA - FINANCE DIRECTOR

Nicola joined the company in July 2009. She has almost twenty years of experience as a chartered accountant. Since 1997 her experience has been gained in the media industry, most recently at RDF Media Group where she was Group Financial Controller and Finance Director of RDF Rights. Prior to that she spent four years working for KPMG in Asia.

Nicola has overall responsibility for the financial management of One Medical / One Medicare.

MICHAEL BEVERLEY, DL BA FCA FRSA - NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Michael spent the first 28 years of his business career with Arthur Andersen and retired in 2001. He was latterly UK regional and senior managing partner responsible for 3,500 people, 11 offices and a turnover of £350m.

From 2001 to 2009 Michael focused on developing a range of businesses centred on healthcare and property. Principally One Medical, One Medicare, Telemedcare (vital signs software), United Health Group (developer of care homes and care villages), Creative Care and Therapy (child care and therapy centres) and Yorkshire Ventures which is involved in residential development.

At the end of 2009 Michael reorganised his business interests to focus all his business efforts on One Medical and One Medicare.

DR PHILLIP EARNSHAW, MBBS, DRCOG - NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In his role, Phillip offers clinical and strategic support to the executive board. He is a partner at Ferrybridge Medical Centre as well as a PEC Chair for Wakefield PCT. Phillip is also a founder and past chair of Wakefield GP's on call and set up the first wave national pilot Walk in Centre.

DR PATRICK WYNN, MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP - NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In his role, Patrick offers clinical and strategic support to the One Medicare board.

He is a partner at Ferrybridge Medical Centre, and is heavily involved in the training and assessing of medical staff and is a registered GP registrar trainer, Nurse Practitioner trainer and Medical Student trainer.

DR PAUL CHARLSON, MB BS FRCGP DRCOG DPD DOccMed - LOCAL MEDICAL DIRECTOR, NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE

As Local Medical Director for North East Lincolnshire, Paul is responsible for the clinical quality at the centre and the development of services. Prior to taking on this role he was a full time GP Principal for 20 years and has been heavily involved in GP training. Paul is a Deanery Quality Assurance Tutor and RCGP fellow and also works as a GPSI in dermatology and is a cosmetic physician.

JANE HICKINSON RN DIP (adult), Bsc - LEAD NURSE PRACTITIONER, NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE

Having trained as a general nurse in Grimsby, Jane brings with her experience of working on a medical ward specialising in cardiology, working in the community as part of a district nurse team and as a Practice Nurse at a local GP surgery.

Jane has a special interest in chronic disease management and has diplomas in both nursing and diabetes care, a certification in sexual and women's health, a certification in respiratory management and is a qualified cytology screener and child health vaccinator. She is currently studying for a BSc in health and social care and for the Independent Prescriber Qualification.

DR TESSA MATTAM, MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFFP - LEAD GP, LEEDS

Dr Mattam has been working for One Medicare since she qualified as a GP in September 2007. She became a lead GP in April 2010 with responsibility for developing clinical protocols and supporting and guiding clinical staff. Dr Mattam is the Practice Lead for Practice Based Commissioning and has qualifications in family planning and women's health.

SUE SMITH - LEAD NURSE, LEEDS

As well as co-ordinating, leading and developing the nursing team and services at both One Medicare @ The Light and One Medicare @ Hilton Road, Sue continues to carry out her role as a Nurse Practitioner with a background in Elderly Care and Practice Nursing.
She is involved in assisting in the development of new services at the surgery and is also a mentor and part-time lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University.

SUE COUPLAND - LEAD NURSE SHEFFIELD

Sue was promoted to Lead Nurse in April of this year and acts as Advanced Nurse Practitioner at One Medicare's Sheffield centre.

Sue leads the Nursing Team at Sheffield providing support, guidance and clinical knowledge.

She is currently studying for a Master of Medical Science in Advancing Practice which will allow her to improove her skills and knowledge.

GEORGIE DUCKWORTH - HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Georgie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in HR gained in global roles working within both the public and private sector, including health organisations such as New South Wales Health in Australia.

Georgie is responsible for the effective implementation of One Medicare's People and Performance strategy: this includes the selection and development of a superior workforce and the promotion of an employee-oriented, high performance culture to support One Medicare in delivering the utmost in innovative, superior patient care to the communty.

ANTHONY HARRIS - HR OFFICER

Anthony works in the HR department at the One Medical / One Medicare Head Office. He works alongside our HR Manager as well as other Line Managers, in developing, advising and implementing policies and procedures in line with legislation.

Anthony previously worked at Securitas Security Services, providing HR support for over 4,000 staff.

He is currently training for a CIPD qualification.

STEPHEN PEAL - HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING

Stephen comes to us with diverse range of experiences within Sales & Marketing. His most recent roles were as a Depot Manager for one of the UKs largest independently owned fuel distributors and as a National Sales Manager at an international company.

Stephen brings his experience of leading a wide variety of sales teams, enabling him to provide exceptional managerial support for the Sales and Marketing team at One Medicare.

HAYLEY SADGROVE - MARKETING ASSISTANT

Hayley joined the company in 2009. She has five years experience in PR and events management and has previously worked with One Medicare on a consultancy basis.

As part of the marketing team she will assist in the organisation of events, copy writing for marketing literature and dealing with media enquiries.

NICOLA MURRAY - FACILITIES MANAGER

Nicola Murray is Facilities Manager for One Medical and One Medical's sister company, One Medicare.

Nicola joined the company in 2009 with invaluable experience in a project coordination and account management role, most recently gained at Bailey Teswaine.

Nicola is responsible for management and delivery of all hard and soft facilities management at 11 sites including Head Office which incorporates planned and reactive maintenance, service charge management, lease reviews, sourcing strategies and service contract management.

JENNI BRAILSFORD - OPERATIONS MANAGER, DERBY

Jenni Brailsford gained invaluable experience in the Customer Service field before moving into Healthcare in 2008, Jenni joined One Medicare as Head Receptionist when the Derby Open Access Centre opened in December 2008, one of the first GP-led health centres in the country, and was quickly promoted to Centre Manager. Under the direction of Jenni, the centre is achieving all its targets set out by NHS Derby.

RICHARD ELLIS - OPERATIONS MANAGER, NELINCS

Richard joined Quayside Medical Centre in the summer of 2010 and through his expert guidance, the centre has gone from strength to strength. He is responsible for the overall management of the centre and hitting targets set out by North East Lincolnshire CTP.

Richard comes to us with a wealth of strategic experience having spent many years working at management level for international haulage companies.

CHRISTIAN ELLWOOD - OPERATIONS MANAGER SHEFFIELD

Christian joined us in August of this year and brings with him a wealth of experience in Practice Management having previously worked in two walk-in centres in Manchester.

As Operations Manager, Christian will lead both the clinical and clerical team into the new era of Urgent Healthcare in Sheffield.

JOANNE WARD - OPERATIONS MANAGER LEEDS

Joanne's role as Operations Manager in Leeds includes leading the teams at both One Medicare @ The Light and One Medicare @ Hilton Road.

She works with both Dr Tess Mattam, Lead GP and Sue Smith, Lead Nurse, at both GP surgeries.

Joanne has extensive experience developing teams, delivering operational efficiencies and improving performance whilst hitting KPI measures.

She will lead the team to great success and deliver excellent NHS healthcare to the residents of Leeds.

LINDSEY BELL - SERVICE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Lindsey is responsible for developing new business projects for the company. Lindsey has a vast and varied experience in business and project management some of her successes include securing an additional two years of government funding for the West Yorkshire Knowledge Exchange project and creating and launching the Design Champion 2006 competition at Leeds Metropolitan University.

ADAM LITTLE - SYSTEMS ANALYST

Adam supports the company IT systems and is responsible for data processing and reporting to support decision making and improve efficiencies. He works in conjunction with all areas of the business to ensure the timely provision of accurate, relevant and current information. Adam previously worked in the purchasing department for a telecoms company. His background is in IT support and he has a degree in Business Studies.

CATHERINE GOODE - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Catherine has a degree in accounting and over 10 years accounts office experience. Most recently she was the accounts manager for a recruitment firm, overseeing all aspects of the financial function.

Catherine is responsible for the accounts and payroll of One Medicare.
